Senior Executive – Logistics

Location: Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu (On-site)
Reporting To: Manager – Operations
Employment: Full-time (1 Open Position)
Experience: 6–9 Years
Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline (MBA/PG Diploma is an advantage)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Executive – Logistics to manage end-to-end transportation, import/export, and materials movement for aircraft engine components and tools. The role will lead a small logistics team, manage key vendors, drive process improvements, and ensure timely, compliant, cost-effective handling of critical and AOG shipments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end domestic/international logistics for aircraft engines, components, tooling, GSE, consumables and hazardous materials, including AOG shipments.
  • Manage freight forwarders, customs brokers, transporters, vendors and customers; negotiate rates and drive cost and transit-time optimisation.
  • Ensure accurate shipping documentation, SEZ/Customs compliance, ERP records, packaging, labelling and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and mentor logistics executives while coordinating with Procurement, Stores, Operations, Quality, Planning and Finance.
  • Monitor logistics performance, costs, claims and risks; drive corrective actions, process improvements, compliance and service excellence.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Aviation Management or related field; MBA/PG Diploma is an advantage.
  • 6–9 years’ experience in logistics, freight forwarding, import/export or supply chain, preferably aviation/aerospace/MRO, with team-handling exposure.
  • Strong knowledge of SEZ, Customs, import/export documentation, transportation and bonded warehouse operations.
  • Proven vendor negotiation, cost management, stakeholder coordination and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Advanced MS Excel/ERP proficiency with strong problem-solving, decision-making and ability to manage multiple priorities and critical shipments under pressure.

Key Account Manager

Location: Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu (On-site)
Reporting To: CEO
Employment: Full-time (1 Open Position)
Experience: 5–10 Years
Education: Bachelor’s degree in aerospace / mechanical engineering and MBA

We are seeking a Key Account Manager to drive commercial aero engine aftermarket growth through sales, leasing and trading of engines and parts. The role requires strong technical and commercial expertise across CFM, Rolls-Royce and Pratt & Whitney platforms, along with customer relationship management and market development capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive global sales and business development for engines, modules and spare parts, including sales, exchanges, leasing and teardown programs across CFM56, LEAP, Trent and PW1000G platforms.
  • Lead sales associates, execute GEM India’s marketing strategy, and develop commercial proposals aligned with pricing and margin objectives.
  • Coordinate with Warehouse and Logistics to ensure inventory accuracy, documentation, traceability, preservation and optimal asset utilisation.
  • Manage relationships with airlines, MROs, lessors and trading partners, supporting negotiations, inspections, technical queries and customer requirements.
  • Monitor market trends, pricing and demand; maintain sales pipelines and forecasts while ensuring regulatory compliance and seamless coordination with internal functions.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering; MBA preferred, with 5–10 years of sales/business development experience in the commercial aero engine aftermarket.
  • Hands-on experience with CFM, Rolls-Royce and Pratt & Whitney engine platforms, with strong understanding of engine documentation, maintenance records, preservation and inventory control.
  • Proven expertise in sales, negotiation, customer relationship management and asset remarketing, with exposure to engine warehousing and aftermarket operations.
  • Knowledge of aviation regulatory requirements including FAA, EASA and DGCA, supported by strong analytical, communication, problem-solving and commercial skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM, MS Excel and ERP/asset management systems, with willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
